Lift for Citizen’s Development and Advancement (LICDA) is a not-for-profit organization that is keen on enhancing internet rights while curbing its abuse as well as promoting human rights, climate justice, public health, accountability and generally improving good governance in Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.
Digital Safety & Inclusion
Through our Digital Economy & Safer Environment Project, we equip women, youth, and grassroots entrepreneurs with digital literacy skills while promoting safe online practices. We advocate for responsible use of the internet and empower communities to thrive in the digital age.
Peacebuilding & Community Trust
We work to reduce tension, conflict, and polarization by fostering dialogue, mutual respect, and understanding between communities and institutions. Our Building Community Power through Building Trust Project strengthens collaboration between citizens and security agencies to create safer, more peaceful neighborhoods.
Human Rights & Civic Education
We empower citizens with the knowledge they need to understand their rights, fulfill their responsibilities, and engage confidently with security agencies and public institutions. Through community outreach, simplified civic education, and digital resources, we help build informed and responsible communities.

We create platforms for young people to learn, lead, and shape the future of their communities. From civic training to mentorship and digital skill-building, we are committed to supporting the next generation of changemakers.
